What's the difference between Marqly Free and Pro?

Marqly Free covers saving, AI auto-tagging, and semantic search. Pro adds chat with your saves and chat with YouTube videos — $48/yr or $8/mo, 7-day trial.

Marqly Free is the core bookmark manager: save links from your browser, get AI auto-tagging on every save, and find anything with semantic search. Pro unlocks the chat features — asking questions answered from your saved content, and chatting with YouTube videos through their transcripts. Pro costs $48 per year or $8 per month, with a 7-day free trial to test it first.

What Free includes

The free tier is the everyday save-tag-search loop. You save a page in one click, AI tags it automatically so you never file anything by hand, and semantic search finds saves by meaning — describe what you remember (“that article comparing note apps”) instead of guessing the exact title. No card is required to sign up at app.marqly.com, and the plan doesn’t expire.

What Pro unlocks

Pro adds two chat capabilities on top of everything in Free:

  • Chat with your saves — ask a question and get an answer pulled from the content you’ve saved, not from the open web. Useful when you’ve saved twenty articles on a topic and want the takeaway without rereading them.
  • Chat with YouTube videos — on any YouTube watch page, the Chat tab answers questions from the video’s transcript, so you can query a 40-minute video instead of scrubbing through it.

Which one do you need?

If your workflow is “save it now, find it later,” Free covers you. If you treat your saves as a knowledge base you want to question — research, competitive analysis, learning from long videos — Pro is where that happens. Pricing details are on the pricing section, and the cost breakdown explains why annual billing is the better deal.

Try before you pay

The 7-day Pro trial lets you test both chat features on your real library. If you don’t subscribe afterwards, you keep the free tier and all your saves — see what happens when the trial ends.
