Does Marqly have Clipboard History?

Yes. On Chrome and Edge, Marqly’s Clipboard History automatically keeps text you copy from webpages so it does not disappear when you copy something else. Open the Clipboard workspace to search, filter, pin, favorite, and tag the snippets you want to keep.

The one-slot problem

A normal browser clipboard holds one item. Copy a quote from an article, then copy literally anything else, and the quote is gone. People work around this by pasting into a notes app, sending snippets to themselves in a chat thread, or re-opening the original page hours later. Clipboard History removes the workaround: text copied from webpages is kept automatically and filed beside your bookmarks, instead of living in a single slot that is already overwritten.

It is deliberately aimed at the small stuff — quotes, addresses, a paragraph you might cite later, a code snippet: pieces that are useful but do not deserve a full bookmark.

Search, filter, favorite, pin, tag

Collecting is the easy half; finding the snippet again is the point. Inside the Clipboard workspace you can:

• search across saved snippets when you half-remember a phrase,
• filter the list down as it grows,
• favorite or pin the ones you reach for repeatedly,
• tag snippets to build your own structure — by project, by source, by whatever grouping you actually use.

Individually the pieces are small and disposable. Tagged and searchable, they become a working archive instead of a pile.

Clipboard or highlights?

The two overlap, and the line between them is simple. If the text belongs to a source page and needs lasting context, use web highlights instead — highlights stay attached to the original webpage. Clipboard History is for fragments you grabbed out of context and want to keep on their own.

Who this isn’t for

Clipboard History lives in the Chrome and Microsoft Edge extensions. It is not available in Firefox or Safari — if that is your browser, Marqly on Firefox covers what is available there.
