Is there a Marqly lifetime deal?

Not any more. Marqly sold lifetime plans through AppSumo and SaaSPirate between 2022 and 2024, and every one of those accounts is still honoured — if you hold one, it does not expire and we are not taking it away. But no lifetime plan is on sale today, and that’s a deliberate choice rather than an oversight. Every save you make triggers real, recurring costs: AI auto-tagging, summaries, semantic search indexing, and chat all run on compute that’s billed continuously. A one-time payment can’t fund a service with per-use costs forever. The best available price is the annual plan at $72 per year.

Why lifetime deals and AI products don’t mix

A lifetime deal works when serving one more user costs nearly nothing. Marqly is the opposite: the AI features are the product, and they cost money every time you use them. Tagging a save, summarizing an article, answering a chat question from your library — each one is an inference call with a price attached. Sell that for a one-time $99 and the math fails within a couple of years, which is exactly why so many lifetime-deal products either degrade their AI features, cap them into uselessness, or shut down.

A subscription keeps the incentives honest: you pay while you use it, and the revenue funds the compute your library consumes plus ongoing development.

It still works and it is not going away. Two limits are worth stating plainly, because they are easy to run into and we would rather you read them here: a lifetime plan covers saving, browsing and searching your whole library without limit, but the AI features are not included — auto-tagging, summaries, semantic search, Ask AI and the YouTube chat all belong to Pro.
