Can I save ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini conversations with Marqly?

Yes. Marqly can capture useful conversations from ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini in Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox. Saved conversations appear together in the extension’s AI Chats workspace instead of getting lost across separate chat histories and tabs.

Keep the useful answer after the chat ends

AI chats often contain research, drafts, debugging steps, or decisions worth revisiting. Saving the conversation to Marqly preserves that context in a workspace dedicated to AI chats, alongside the other material you collect while browsing.

Supported AI chat sites and browsers

Current capture support covers ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. AI chat capture works in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox; it is not currently available in Safari. The Chrome and Edge side panel can show the AI Chats workspace next to the current page, while Firefox uses the extension interface without the Chrome side-panel API.

What gets captured, and what doesn’t

Saving an AI chat keeps the message text — your prompt and the model’s answer — as a searchable entry, so you can find it again with semantic search even if you forget the exact wording. It does not turn the chat into a live document: links inside a saved answer still point to wherever they pointed when you saved them, and a conversation you delete from the AI service’s own history is unaffected in Marqly (and vice-versa). If the answer contained a URL to an article or product page, you can also save that page on its own so its full text and a highlight survive independently of the chat.

Where it sits next to your other saves

Captured chats share the same library as your bookmarks, highlights and YouTube saves, so a search can surface an answer you got last month alongside the article you saved the week before. If you mostly research in AI chats and want them filed without a second tool, this is the capture path; if you need to move an entire provider’s chat history out in bulk, use that provider’s own export and keep Marqly for the specific conversations worth retrieving.
