About Marqly

Marqly is an AI bookmark manager for people who save a lot and refuse to lose it. You save an article, a video, a thread; Marqly tags and summarises it, and months later you find it by describing what you remember instead of the exact title. It runs on the web, as a browser extension, and on iOS and Android.

Marqly — spelled with a q. We’re marqly.com, not “Markly”, “Markly.app” or “markly.me”, which are unrelated products.

Who we are

Marqly is built and operated by Megamoon Ventures FZCO, a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is a small, product-led team — the same people design, build and support it — rather than a large publisher.

The product is written about on this site by its founder, Amro Shahbari — a product designer who previously worked as a Senior Product Designer at Wix and now leads Marqly’s design and product. Reviews and comparisons follow the protocol on our how-we-test page.

Why Marqly exists

Bookmark folders fail for the same reason every year: you save something for a reason you can no longer reconstruct, file it where it won’t be looked for, and rely on remembering the exact words in a headline you half-read at midnight. Reading it later is easy; finding it later is the actual problem. Marqly is built around that problem — search by meaning, not keywords — so the saving stops being a filing chore you eventually give up on.

Where the product has been

Marqly has shipped continuously since 2022. Notable public milestones, verifiable on the sources we link:

  • 2022 — Marqly 1.0 launched and reached #1 Product of the Dayon Product Hunt (September 3, 2022).Product Hunt ↗
