What is Marqly Home on the New Tab page?
Marqly Home is a customizable New Tab workspace with library search, quick links, folders, notes, to-dos, weather, backgrounds, and saved sessions.
Last updated:
Marqly Home replaces the blank New Tab page with a personal browser workspace. It puts library search, draggable quick links, notes, to-dos, weather, backgrounds, and saved browsing sessions on the tab you open most, so the things you reach for every day are ready before you navigate anywhere. It is available in Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox — not Safari.
Quick links that work your way
Add your favorite sites, drag them into the order you want, and group related ones into folders. A customizable dock keeps the handful of sites you use hourly within reach. The goal is a start page shaped by your own browsing, not a grid of links the browser guessed for you.
Search your library from the New Tab page
Marqly Home searches your Marqly library directly — no need to open the full web app just to find or reopen something you saved. The start page becomes the front door to the library instead of a separate destination. If you want retrieval by meaning rather than exact words, that runs on Pro — see searching your bookmarks by meaning.
Notes, to-dos, and stickies
Beyond links, the page carries working context: notes and to-dos in draggable, desktop-style windows, or stickies left directly on the page so a reminder stays visible while you browse. Weather and custom backgrounds sit on top. Because everything drags, the page can stay personal without turning into another dashboard you have to learn.
Saved sessions
Marqly Home also surfaces saved sessions — a group of tabs you parked for a project or research task, reachable from the start page instead of buried in browser history. For the capture side of that, see how to save all your open tabs.
Who this isn’t for
Marqly Home currently runs in Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox. It is not available in Safari, so Safari users keep their default start page — Marqly on Safari covers where things stand there.
