How do I chat with my saved articles?
Ask Marqly a question in plain language and get an answer grounded in your saved articles, highlights, and transcripts — one question at a time, no conversation history. It's a Marqly Pro feature.
Ask Marqly a question in plain language and get an answer grounded in your saved content — the articles, highlights, and video transcripts already in your library. Instead of re-opening five saves to hunt down one figure or half-remembered argument, you ask for it and the answer is drawn from what you actually kept. Asking AI about your saves is a Marqly Pro feature.
One question at a time
This isn’t an open-ended conversation — it’s one question in, one grounded answer out. Marqly doesn’t keep a running chat history, so it won’t remember an earlier question when you ask the next one; each question stands on its own and should include whatever context it needs. If you want to go deeper on a topic, ask a more specific follow-up question rather than expecting Marqly to recall what you asked before. (Chatting with a YouTube video’s transcript is different — that one does hold a running conversation. See how do I chat with a YouTube video.)
Answers come from your library
The point of asking AI about your saves is grounding: answers are based on the content you saved, not generic web knowledge. You curated the sources — the answer reflects your reading. That’s what separates this from asking a general chatbot, which has never seen the specific articles you trusted enough to keep. As with any AI output, verify critical facts against the source before you rely on them.
Ask AI and search are different tools
Semantic search finds the save — “that article about pricing psychology.” Asking AI answers the question — “what did that article say charm pricing does to perceived quality?” Use search when you want to open and read something; use Ask AI when you want the specific answer buried inside things you’ve already read. Together they make the library a working reference instead of a pile.
What you need
Asking AI about your saves requires Marqly Pro: $72/year (about $6/month billed annually) or $9/month, with a 7-day free trial. See what’s in Marqly free vs Pro for the split.
