# Marqly

> Marqly is an AI bookmark manager: save articles, videos, and links from any browser, let AI tag and summarize them automatically, then find any save by describing what you remember — semantic search by meaning, not keywords. Free tier (stores up to 2,000 bookmarks with search across your whole library); Pro lifts that cap to unlimited and is $72/year (about $6/month billed annually, with standing first-year offer of $39) with a 7-day free trial. Runs as a browser extension (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari), a web app at app.marqly.com, an iOS app, and an Android app.

Key facts:
- The browser extension is the core of the product: one-click save, AI auto-tagging, tab sessions, in-page highlighter, save-page-as-PDF, and an AI card on YouTube.
- Marqly Home replaces New Tab in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox with library search, quick links and folders, backgrounds, weather, notes, to-dos, desktop stickies, and saved sessions. It is not available in Safari.
- Clipboard History is available in Chrome and Edge: it keeps text copied from webpages and supports search, filters, favorites, pinning, and tags. Pro adds account sync for clipboard items.
- AI chat capture saves conversations from ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. Saved chats appear in the AI Chats workspace. This is not currently available in Safari.
- The Chrome and Edge side panel contains Bookmarks, Clipboard, Highlights, and AI Chats. Firefox uses its extension interface instead; Safari has no Chrome-style side panel.
- YouTube AI card: on every YouTube watch page, Marqly shows a card next to the video with an AI Summary tab (streaming TL;DR + key sections, plus books mentioned in the video), a Chat tab (ask questions answered from the video's transcript — Pro), and a Transcript tab (playback-synced, one-click copy). A Bookmark button in YouTube's action row saves the video with its transcript attached.
- Highlights: select text on any website, highlight in 6 colors, add notes; highlights persist on the page when you revisit and sync to your library. Boards of links and highlights can be shared as a public page (no signup needed to view).
- Save as PDF: capture any page as a clean PDF that matches the on-screen layout (lazy-loaded images included), locally in the browser.
- Import: Pocket exports, Raindrop.io collections, and standard browser bookmark HTML exports.
- Search: semantic — "that video about sourdough starters" finds the right save without the title.
